Shown here is an oak countertop that we skip planed to leave a bit of the original character and patina on the face of the planks. We can generally take off as little or as much character as you like to get the look that is just right for your project.
This is another view of the same island top in the first picture. We can sand and finish the countertops, or leave them unfinished for you or your installer to finish. We typically offer our countertops in reclaimed oak, chestnut, mixed hardwoods and heart pine but occasionally have other species.
If you have your own table base but would like to turn it into a real family heirloom, we can make a custom table top just for you.
The table shown here has a reclaimed wormy chestnut top. We filled in the larger holes, gave it a sanding and finished it with Waterlox tung oil based finish.
We can make a custom top to fit most size bases.
