The table top will have a few solid knots and since it is recycled wood it will also have a few nail holes. Although, we do use wooden plugs to fill all of the larger holes.
	We use a hand rubbed oil finish on most of our furniture. The finish adds a soft luster to the pieces and will also protect the wood for many years of service.

Appalachian woods builds reproduction furniture from antique woods like Heart Pine, Chestnut, and Oak. We have a farm table in wormy chestnut and in heart pine. Also we have sofa tables or hall tables in the same antique woods. The style of the furniture is somewhat of a mixture between the shaker style and the early American style.
