random 4.5" - 7.5" width pattern. The varying tones of the
planks give it a nice contrast. |
This Antique Barn-Board flooring is made by taking old barn
planks and milling them into flooring.

This
flooring includes a collection of a wide variety of barn planks
that we have reclaimed.

Antique Mixed
Hardwoods in random 3.5" - 6.5" widths.
|

Since most
of this flooring came from original barn boards, you will see
quite a few old saw marks still visible in this flooring.
The picture to the left shows the flooring in random 3.5" - 6.5"
widths. This floor was finished with a satin polyurethane.

In the old
days, barns were built with the most readily available lumber.
Many
times this meant that many different wood species were included
in the barn construction.

Because
this flooring includes a wide range of wood species, the
appearance forms a very unique medley of colors.

You may
find woods like Walnut, Maple, Hickory, Ash, Beech, Poplar,
Sassafras, Elm and other common Appalachian hardwoods. |

Frequent aging stress cracks, worm holes, knots and saw marks all add to
the rich character of this unique floor.
