Antique Hand Hewn Log Cabin
15' x 22' Oak

Downstairs ceiling height is about 7' and the upstairs ceiling height is about 9' in the middle and 51" at the walls.

 

The original stone from the chimney and from the foundation will be available with the log cabin.

The hand hewn logs in this log cabin are solid and sound

 

This log cabin features the traditional "saddle notch" style of log fitting.

The log sizes vary a good bit, but many have a hand hewn face that is close to 12" in width.

From what we can see, all the logs in this cabin are Oak.

This cabin is currently still on the original foundation here in the Shenandoah Valley of  Virginia.

We are hoping to move this fairly soon so that you can have the opportunity to see it while it is still standing.
